Thanks everyone for their comments, etc. I've been meaning to have more in-depth reviews but lack of time has prevented that. About Kanye, yeah, the hype is off-putting, but I feel like he's trying new things in terms of arrangements that are worth paying attention to. At this point, I don't think we can expect anyone to be a real innovator in music. Instead I'm interested in how artists can make mix together different genres into one single pop song that maybe (just maybe) produces something new.
