"Don't Want To Know If You Are Lonely" was the first single off of Husker Du's album Candy Apple Grey (1986). The was written and sung by the band's drummer Grant Hart.
Candy Apple Grey was my first exposure to Husker Du. I bought the cassette tape in 1986 and gave it a listen. First track "Crystal" was cool ... then 2nd track "Don't Want to Know". I was totally hooked from that point on.
